All drinks are not created equal.

Because of their varying alcohol content, what constitutes a single 鈥渄rink鈥� of beer, wine, or liquor varies greatly. Remember, one standard drink equals one of the following measurements:

• 1.25 oz. 80 proof liquor/mix
• 12 oz. beer
• 7 oz. malt liquor
• 4-5 oz. wine
• 10 oz. wine cooler

How much is in your cup?

• A Solo cup can hold 1鈪� beers.
• A large glass of wine can hold 8-10 ounces (2 servings); a Solo cup holds 15-16 ounces (3 servings).
• A Solo cup of 鈥渏ungle juice鈥� or punch can equal 4-6 drinks. If Everclear is used in the mix, it can double the effect.

The bottom line: always make and measure your own drink. And of course, drink responsibly.
