海角社区\u2019s Strategic Plan, Boldly Ascending 2023-2029<\/em>, provides us with direction and priorities. Our proximate ends are the plan\u2019s goals: Academic Excellence and Student Success; Inclusive Community; and Agile Stewardship. However, let’s ascend toward our aspirational ends: that is making our mark for graduating empathetic problem solvers, ethical change agents, and responsible leaders who make a positive impact on the human condition and thrive in a changing world.<\/p>\n

<\/i><\/i><\/i><\/span>Boldly Ascending Goals & Objectives<\/div>

 <\/p>\n

Goal 1: Academic Excellence & Student Success<\/strong><\/p>\n

Achieve academic excellence and student success through the advancement of intercultural, global, and interdisciplinary education, experiential learning, and individualized student-centered resources.<\/p>\n

Objectives: <\/em><\/p>\n

a. Provide learning environments and opportunities that encourage the development of deep content knowledge that leads to discerning engagement in work and in the world.<\/p>\n

b. Increase high-impact practices that promote creative expression, scholarly research, and applied learning.<\/p>\n

c. Grow service opportunities and civic engagement to explore personal identities and diversity, and make a positive societal impact locally, regionally, and internationally.<\/p>\n

d. Strengthen our culture of mentorship through integrated and individualized support systems and resources that help students succeed.<\/p>\n

Goal 2: Inclusive Community <\/strong><\/p>\n

Foster a diverse, empathetic, and vibrant community that inspires a culture of inclusivity, accountability, and collaboration.<\/p>\n

Objectives: <\/em><\/p>\n

a. Prioritize personal well-being by promoting healthy practices and environments.<\/p>\n

b. Advance a culture of belonging, equity, inclusion, and trust by embracing diversity, access, and accountability.<\/p>\n

c. Promote an environment that elevates voices, examines structures of power and privilege, and creates justice-oriented actions and solutions.<\/p>\n

d. Develop future leaders who gain self-awareness, mentor others, and emerge as change agents.<\/p>\n

e. Foster school pride by building relationships and partnerships, amplifying creative collaboration, and enhancing community engagement.<\/p>\n

Goal 3: Agile Stewardship <\/strong><\/p>\n

Drive institutional distinction, sustainability, and pride by galvanizing our community members and partners, and building organizational agility, accountability, and resilience.<\/p>\n

Objectives: <\/em><\/p>\n

a. Drive institutional distinction through student and alumni satisfaction and success, faculty scholarship, thought leadership, national and international collaborations, and organizational expertise.<\/p>\n

b. Bolster 海角社区 pride through serving as both a public college of choice and an employer of choice.<\/p>\n

c. Secure long-term fiscal sustainability through the entrepreneurial management and development of resources at every level.<\/p>\n

d. Strengthen organizational resilience and agility through sustainable practices and data-informed SMART choices (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-bound).<\/p>\n

Ramapo’s strategic planning process included four key elements: Planning Forums, <\/a>The Future Series, <\/a>Needs Statement Process, <\/a>and Campus Facilities Planning. <\/a>These four elements all shaped the development of Boldly Ascending <\/em>by: exploring our context, i<\/span>gniting our passion, e<\/span>nvisioning our environment, and u<\/span>ltimately, making a bold impact.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ramapo Comprehensive Academic Plan<\/p><\/div>\n

The Comprehensive Academic Plan (CAP) was approved by the Faculty Assembly on October 3, 2023. The CAP moves the Campus forward by serving as a holistic plan to advance teaching, learning, research, scholarship and creative activity and meet the promise of Boldly Ascending. With innovation at its core, and in consideration of our resources as a public institution, the plan provides a high-level overview of guiding principles that then filter into objectives and tasks that guide future action.<\/p>\n

Ramapo Communications Plan<\/p><\/div>\n

The more consistent and confident we are when telling the 海角社区 story, the better our audiences will <\/span>understand and trust what we have to say. To these ends, the Communications Plan<\/em> was approved by the Mission Element Team on August 30, 2023. The Plan articulates the College’s communications goals in alignment with the advancement of Boldly Ascending<\/em> and outlines institutional strategies to increase the College’s visibility, positively influence the College’s reputation among key audiences, and exercise excellence and best practices in communications.<\/p>\n

Revitalize, Renew, and Retool<\/em>, the College’s Comprehensive Facilities Plan, was approved by the Board of Trustees on January 30, 2024. The plan is a critical tool in the strategic management of one of Ramapo\u2019s most valuable assets: the built environment. This document serves to propel the institution\u2019s goals and objectives, aid in recruitment and retention, and inspire creativity in the campus community. Revitalize, Renew, and Retool<\/em> provides a vision for the physical environment that aligns with Boldly Ascending <\/em>and the Comprehensive Academic Plan<\/em>. Revitalize, Renew, and Retool<\/em> emphasizes renewal and renovation, reinvestment in infrastructure, the student experience, and value-based growth.<\/p>\n
