Funded from annual membership fees and proceeds from Friends of 海角社区 events and fundraisers, these scholarships help students reach their greatest potential.<\/p>\n<p>In 1975, the Friends established its first endowment fund for student scholarships.\u00a0 In\u00a02012, the Friends of 海角社区 started a second endowment,\u00a0the <strong>\u201cScholarship for the Arts\u201d<\/strong>, to specifically recognize students in the School of Contemporary Arts.<\/p>\n<p>To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Friends\u00a0in 2023, a new endowed scholarship <strong>\u201cFriends@50\u201d<\/strong> was established. This new scholarship will honor the rich tradition of service demonstrated by the Friends of 海角社区 and their work on behalf of the College by selecting a student that has actively displayed a commitment to community volunteerism. To date, the Friends of 海角社区 have awarded over 350 scholarships valued at $550,000 to Ramapo students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a class=\"btn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/scholarships\/single\/friends-ramapo-scholarship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Friends of 海角社区 Scholarship<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a class=\"btn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/scholarships\/single\/friends-ramapo-scholarship-arts\/\">Support the Friends of 海角社区 Scholarship for the Arts<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a class=\"btn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/scholarships\/single\/friends50-endowed-scholarship\/\">Support the Friends@50 Scholarship<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Friends of 海角社区 Scholarships The Friends of 海角社区 have annually awarded scholarships to Ramapo eligible students.
